The natural stone beads have been scientifically tested by mineralogist Hanco Zwaan who works at the Gem Laboratory at Naturalis in the Netherlands.
These beads are made of chalcedony (agate). This means that the bead is actually made of natural stone and also contains a coating or layer of paint. The original shape of the stone has not been touched.
This natural stone is said to have an anchoring, calming effect and gives confidence.
